PCB Assembling solves concerns of all

Why all prefer PCB assembling?

As discussed earlier, this blog ‘PCB and You’ is dedicated to beginners of electronics enthusiasts, hobbyists, and focused group of students studying in schools/colleges with science/electronics background and budding technocrats and electronics engineers studying with engineering discipline. This blog is also targeted teachers and parents with some electronics bend who wish to self build small and favourite electronics projects of their choice for themselves or for their wards and enjoy project building activities as part and parcel of their institutional curriculum activities.

Students concern

My long association with the students of electronics background studying in schools and colleges revealed that they experience some difficulties in understanding the principles and practice of the electronics circuit designs apart from hooking up the circuit schematics on PCBs for their project work in their academic labs. On the whole their academic performance becomes poor and unable to compete with their counterparts in this direction. This is a great concern among the students community.

Teachers dilemma

I also learnt that a few technical faculties whose job is to guide the students find some practical difficulties in the project assembling work. This drawback makes them frustrated and lead to poor academic achievement both in teaching as well as fulfilling their obligations in the practical labs. I thought that these drawbacks have to be addressed properly for the benefit of both students and teachers community.

As a result of chatting with the students and guides I came to understand that a gap in the technical knowledge and skill in handling the practical work is wide enough resulting poor performance.

Students outlook

Now-a-days, the students studying in high schools/colleges are required to submit at least one project during the academic period to qualify for a pass and to secure higher marks in the extra-curricular activities. I understand that many science oriented students select simple electronics gadgets as their project presentation. In order to execute their electronic project they should understand the circuit schematic and simple assembling techniques. Here comes the knowledge of circuit description and easy and safe assembling technique for the project work on PCBs for satisfactory performance.

Teachers outlook

Sometimes the science teachers who handle science subjects in Government/private/   aided schools approach me for the guidance on the construction of electronics projects. I came across a sizable number of parents too who are somewhat electronics oriented approached me for selecting simple and easy to build electronics projects for their children for construction.

Parents interest and demand

The parents are mainly concerned for the simple, cost effective and compact my PCB assembling technique and attracted for electing electronics projects for their wards in large numbers. The educational institutions also support this way of assembling electronics circuits.

Thus I find a great demand for my step by step assembling of school electronics   projects. Hence there is an urgent need to propagate the PCB assembling technique among young to build a strong nation of tomorrow.

Aim of the blog

As such this blog aims to fulfill the required minimum technical knowledge besides easy and simple way of assembling the schematics on ready-made PCBs in their project building work.

In the coming post I shall elaborate the details of PCB assembling techniques. Please watch out for the next. In the meantime your comments are welcome.
